There are different types of effective interpersonal skills e.g. Presentation, 1 to 1 discussion and group discussion.



Presentation

I did my presentation in front of the whole class on the 31st of May 2012. I did a presentation about barriers to communication, here I learned about different types of barrier communication e.g. Language. I did this presentation because in my assignment I was asked to discuss potential barriers to effective communication. I had to deliver my presentation in a PowerPoint and do 3-4 slides. I had to do this presentation because it was one of my pass criteria.



1 to 1 discussion

I had a discussion with my CESIT teacher about the review of my work on the 31st of May 2012. The teacher gave me a review of my work e.g. the teacher told me what task I have completed and what task I need 2 finish off and also how long I have till I complete this assignment. I also got help with one of the task. This discussion took place during class. Teacher did this with me because I and the teacher needed to know what I am up to and what I need to work on to complete my assignment.





Group discussion

This took place in class where everyone had participated in a group discussion of ‘Creative Challenge.’ This had happened on the 1st of February. We had learned different types of that creative can be captured by 4 habits and they are;

• Capture

• Challenge

• Broaden

• Surround

Here we have been memorising the actions of Capture, Challange, Broaden, Surround. We hav e been practising for 15 mins of the lesson.
